I am a 68 year old lifelong resident of Summers County WV. I worked for 36 years in the field of education (Summers County Schools, Monroe County Schools, and West Virginia Department of Education) and retired in 2010. For the past 40 years I have lived about 2 miles from Talcott, near the small community of Ballengee, on about 7 1/2 acres. I raised registered quarter horses for many years and have always been interested in all horses. I enjoy the country life, having a garden, keeping honeybees, and enjoying the outdoors. My father and grandfather were railroaders. I am divorced and I have a daughter who will be 38 this year. My Daughter gave birth to my wonderful grand daughter, Brynn, almost 5 years ago. I love that baby girl! I have become interested in preserving family history recently. I would be interested in getting to know distant relatives.
