Descended on fathers side from French Huguenots who were run out of France after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes.....Originally settled in New Paltz, NY in late 1600s.......On mother's side, less is known about the first to immigrate from British Isles. Roots in the South, Alabama in particular.....
