I am a Mother of 2 wonderful daughters and a Grand-mom of 4 great kids. I started doing my family history search back in 1989 when the first edition of Family Tree Maker was released. It worked quite differently back then and after much search and writing and finding a good deal of information I took a much needed "life happens" break for about 10 or so yeas. I got back to it around 2014 when life quieted down a bit. Quite a change in it all and I had to learn a lot of new tricks. Shortly after taking it back up again I decided to do a DNA test and started to try and learn everything I could about DNA.
