I just started family research recently, and I've found FindAGrave to be very helpful. I've enjoyed recently visiting cemeteries of Word ancestors in northern Alabama along with Ingrams in the MS Delta and cleaning headstones while I go. Hope to continue to follow their paths back through South Carolina and up to Virginia where they came to America in the 1600s.
