Bio

I live in a small town in central New York. I am the Mother of two grown boys that are on their own and have their own families. I am a Grandmother to five wonderful Grandkids. I am a widow since 2004. I stumbled upon FAG and have been addicted ever since. I started researching my ancestors shortly after becoming a member of FAG. There are so many interesting things I've found out about my ancestors. There's something every day that amazes me. And I can't say enough great things about the volunteers that take their time to photograph cemeteries, and make it possible for people to find family members that otherwise would've been lost and forgotten with time and changing generations. I can't thank KSWH enough for her hard work and dedication to FAG. She literally saved me by photographing my late husband's headstone, and creating a memorial for him. I was having a rough night and missing him terrible. It was too late to go to the cemetery and I didn't know enough about FAG to think that his gravesite would be on FAG but I figured I would give it a try. I typed the cemetery and location and there he was! A woman with the initials KSWH took the time to put my late husband's memorial on FAG. I was so happy that I could visit his grave, in a virtual way, anytime I wanted. I sent her a message to let her know how grateful I was and that I appreciated her more than she will ever know. So please if you're using FAG take a moment to let these volunteers know that their hard work isn't going unnoticed. I have had many questions and KSWH has taken the time to always answer me back. She truly is an Angel.
