Bio

Like anyone likely reading this, I was bitten by the Genealogy bug some time ago. It began as fascination and curiosity springing (sprung?) from hearing family stories from my parents and grandparents.

We had a family mystery surrounding my grandfather who was born in 1902 and dropped at the New York Foundling Hospital shortly after. Placed on an Orphan Train at the age of four he found his forever home in a tiny northern Vermont town. With a story like that who wouldn't start digging into databases and records. My love of the mystery has grown from there.

While I use FindAGrave as a research tool I found that I can aid others by taking photos of cemetery markers in my area and have only done so with those that have posted a request for a photo. For ANY photo I take of ANY Cemetery marker or if I create ANY Memorial. If it belongs to one of your family members it is Yours, just drop me a line and let me know and I will transfer it over.

If you have any questions on research or need some ideas on where or how to look I'd be happy to add my 2 cents.

Enjoy the hunt !
