I'm researching my mostly Irish and some French Canadien family in Southern New England.

I've just finished uploading database transcriptions for
St. John's Cemetery, Brightman Street, Fall River MA
established 1850. Almost all Irish burials, with only a few exceptions. I'm currently still working on edits for that project. It's turning into a history of the Irish in Fall River. For anyone who didn't now, St. John's was the first "Catholic Ground" or "Catholic Cemetery" and later designated "North Catholic Ground" for Fall River. Relatively few were buried in St. Mary's (based on it being actived for only 15 years). St. Patrick's didn't open until 1876. I have over 2000 souls named in St. John's now. That's a lot of Irish immigrants and their children.

Next project is working on the McGrath and Tyman families of Fall River, MA
