Ive always found graveyards interesting, beautiful and mysterious. Some days i find myself wondering as i look at a headstone " what was this mans life like....was he a barber? A carpenter? Or just an average joe like me?....was he married? What would he say if he was alive today? What kind of stories could he tell?" Thats what drew me to graveyards and find a grave websight...my curiosity and sense of adventure and wanting to help others find their loved ones and family and so those who are gone are not forgotten. Now...i have 2 helpers my sister and my 8 year old daughter who says one day when she becomes a helicopter pilot she is going to donate money to families so they can have a headstone put on their loved ones grave instead of just a rock (shes 8 and doesn't quite understand how things used to be done in the 1700 to 1800s for very poor families). I love this sight and will continue to be a contributor to this sight and all those who are in need.
