The Town of Derry New Hampshire plays a major role in the life of Ken and his Ancestors. Derry is located in southern N.H. about 12 miles north from the Massachusetts border. As of 2020 it's population was about 33,000. It is best known as the birthplace of Alan Shepard, the Astronaut, and the residence of Robert Frost, the poet, who wrote many of his famous poems while living there.

Ken was born, raised and schooled in Derry. He married his high school sweetheart in Derry. During a 5 year job assignment in New Jersey he had 2 children. When the children were 2 and 3 he moved back to Derry where he currently lives.

Kens father, Alfred Thomas Hepworth, was born and raised in Derry. He married in Derry and raised 3 children in Derry. He died in Derry.

Kens grandfather, Oliver Henry Hepworth, moved to Derry at the age of 3 and spent the remainder of his life in Derry. He married in Derry and raised 5 children. He died in Derry.

Kens great grandfather, Alfred Hepworth, moved from England to Derry in 1873 with his new bride. He raised 3 children in Derry and died in Derry.
