I am a child of Northern Eaton County, Michigan. My ancestors have settled this area and helped establish some of its towns. Since I come from very large families, I grew up knowing I was related in some form or another to a large portion of the county. I married the son of an immigrant whose family tree currently resembles a bush.
Graveyards were friendly places that held many dearly loved family members and many ancestors, so it was like visiting family. I enjoy Genealogy as a hobby when time affords since my children are not yet grown. It is much like putting a puzzle together which I also enjoy.
