Bio

Mirror mirror on the wall, I am like my mother after all. Well almost.

I have a passion for photography and try to fill requests as much as I can in addition to updating grave photos using newer digital means when I notice previous pictures had been taken using older style cameras.

My mom (Patricia Kemper) and I are RAOGK volunteers for Ellis and surrounding counties in Texas. She previously lived for 30 years in Colorado where she also researched for RAOGK. While in Colorado, she served as President, as well as other officers, in her local genie society and edited the society newsletter and quarterly, even after she moved back to Texas in 2002. My mom also served as President of the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies and was the coordinator for the National Genealogical Society's Conference in the States in 1998, held in Denver. She has conducted workshops and presented lectures at the local, area, and national levels, but her passion has always been, and will always be, cemeteries. She has volunteered for the past 20 years (every Saturday they are open) at the Waxahachie Public Library.

Our family surnames and locations include -

Waco, TX - Hamlin, Gabler
Wimberley, TX - Winters
Ludlow, MS - Nutt
Pelahatchie, MS - Jenkins

We love spending free time roaming cemeteries, adding GPS locations, updating pictures and filling requests in the area south of the DFW Metroplex and beyond. We are always up for a cool road trip
