Bio

I became interested in the history of my father’s family “the Redfearns of White Store Township, Anson County, N.C.” as a young child. As an adult, I have been researching my family history for over forty years. Of particular interest to me were the “Four Old Redfearn Cemeteries” of White Store Township, Anson County, North Carolina. In 2019 I was able to locate, visit and document the Alfred S. Redfearn, Sr. cemetery.
The Redfearn family has been meeting for a family reunion at White Store, Anson County, North Carolina for over 84 years. I am, as most of the Redfearns are in this area, decendents of Nimrod Redfearn and his wife Sarah Elizabeth Huntley Redfearn, daughter of Robert S. Huntley, Sr.
I have served as an active member of the Redfearn (White Store) Reunion Cemetery Committee for 20+ years and chairman of the committee since 2004. I have also served as Chairman of the Redfearn Reunion several times.
