Hello. I was born in Dearborn, Michigan in 1959. My grandparents, Davis and Farmer, moved to Detroit in the early 1900's to work in the auto plants-all part of the diaspora of South to North. Both families were from Western Kentucky and Tennessee, primarily Hickman County in KY, and Weakley County, TN. I am an environmental/water resources engineer in North Carolina.
