Friend of Lebanon Cemetery (FoLC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to serving the common interests of visitors, friends, and descendants of African American cemeteries located within York County, Pennsylvania by:
1. assisting in the collection and preservation of knowledge about the history of those interred in these cemeteries.
2. developing and distributing quality educational and interpretive materials and programs, and assisting in the delivery of rich visitor experiences at these cemeteries,
3. participating in the collection and maintenance of records pertaining to burials and gravesites of those interred in these cemeteries,
4. promoting the proper ongoing care and maintenance of historic assets of these cemeteries, including buildings and gravesites, and
5. establishing and sustaining special funds sufficient to accomplishment of these purposes and to the support all expenses incidental thereto.
