I grew up in Memphis, TN and spent much of my childhood at grandparents and great grandparents homes/farms in McNairy County, TN. Many fond memories of going to Shiloh. I remember as a child asking my Dad, "Where did we come from?" Most of the time he said, "I don't know" but finally he said he thought we were from Virginia.
There have been so many times I wish I could talk to my parents and tell them the things I have learned about our family. They would be so interested! I wish I could get my children to be as interested.
It's so amazing to see how far back our history stretches in our great country.
