Bio

I have been using Find A Grave for over 3 years now. It had been a great way to pass some time in this pandemic but more importantly to connect with relatives who have passed. I would like to give a special thank you to member Priscilla Parr (48240104), she was very helpful in getting me started and creating my first few memorials. Also thanks go to Don Bogart (48035385), he was very helpful with photos and locating my grandparents in my hometown cemetery. The Find A Grave group is great to work with. Predominantly made up of people who are very helpful with edits, transfers and their sharing of knowledge, thank you all! Thank you to the moderators of the website, your hard work makes Find A Grave a great place to work.
Unless permission is first requested from me, and then granted by me, the following applies to all my photos/artwork:
All photos that I have taken or otherwise created and uploaded to Find A Grave memorials shall not be copied or reproduced in any fashion, nor used elsewhere on Find A Grave or any other public or private media.
My personal goal; to find my forefathers and discover all the things they have to tell me. To add to that information with whatever family knowledge I have and what I have collected through other websites. To link those I find with their children and parents where that link is broken. I do this, not only for my family, but for others as well. I will stop and research a person, find their spouse, children, parents and any documentation in hopes of showing or telling the family's story. This documentation process is near and dear to my heart.
If I request from you a transfer of a relative's memorial I hope you will grant my wish. I believe it is important that these be managed and cared for by family members who are willing and interested, which I am both. I may also ask for the transfer of non-family if I feel the need to tell their story in length. I know this can be done without a transfer but it just makes it easier on everyone when I have maintenance privileges.
Best regards,
Bob Dean
