My dad was an Alabama native, born in Huntsville, lived in Scottsboro. Son of John Strauss Edmonds and Winnie T. Welch Edmonds. Dad had siblings and family in/around Scottsboro. Dad's grandfather was John Phillips Edmonds and Susan McCoy Edmonds. JP is the bugler in the photo. We've traced Dad's lineage back to early America's beginnings but that's another story.
