My mother's dad is Bauer/Homer & her mother is Weaver/O'Halloran.

A little of myself, my name is Heather Edgecomb, I am from Connecticut. I am 37 years old I love Genealogy, I am still pretty new at it, I started working on my family tree on and off since 2009, I recently started up again because of my daughter also I just love it, I felt like it was drawing me back into learning more of my family for my daughter's sake, so reading every story, every name of my ancestors. I know some of my friends and family thinks I am weird for wanting to know where I came from and who my Ancestor were. Growing up I used to love listening to my grandparents tell me stories of my Ancestor, looking at photos and reading the names of each person in my family was a treasure to me, I wish I had asked my grandparents before they passed away if I could have the photos so I could treasure them with my daughter. But they were destroyed so I could not get them. Which is very heartbreaking, but since 2009 I have found some of the old photos of my ancestors from other family members who I did not know that they were my family. I want my daughter to know where her blood line comes from. I am doing most of this by myself. Did my DNA test results wasn't expecting some things but I'm glad I did it.. I have done both the paternal and maternal sides of both my father's and mother's families, But I still trying to get more information.
