To Andrew: FindAGraves.com's parent company states "Content which has been contributed to public areas of Ancestry sites listed above by users remains the property of the submitter or the original creator and we are a licensed distributor of such content." Please respect my efforts and do not crop or copy any of my photos to repost without my express permission.

Thanks to all the volunteers who are willing to collaborate and give credit where credit is due. I am always willing to upload old photos to new memorials or to share when you are willing to acknowledge the collaboration it sometimes takes to create the memorials.

Became a member after stumbling upon Find A Grave while doing genealogy. Decided to share my paternal family's info as their plot has only the family name inscribed on the granite border. Hoped to ensure future family members could locate our history more easily.

Adding my maternal side was more easy as I grew up visiting them on holidays, their birthdays, and anniversaries. There, the headstones are inscribed with names and dates.

I answer as often as possible photo requests for local cemeteries to help others connect to their past. I learned through messages some, like me, are simply trying to help others not forget the ones who are gone. It saddens me to see the neglected gravesites in my local cemeteries. Knowing I am not able to commit the time to managing hundreds of memorials, I try to stick to what I do best, photography, but occasionally I find a grave that looks like it will not last many more years and I find myself honoring them before they are lost.
