My Family Immigrated to Canada from Bara Scotland in 1821, on the Harmony and landed in Sydney Nova Scotia Cape Breton Island. They settled on Long Island main land for a while until they Moved to Long Island in the St Andrews Channel of Cape Breton, purchased by the Nicholson and O'Handley family. O'Handley are from South Uist. Many generations stayed in Cape Breton and some moved to the United States.
