Bio

My Name is Birgit, I live in Baden Wuerttemberg, near Sinsheim (Heidelberg)..
I have found many related emigrant families through my genealogical research, and was happy to find their gravesites here.....so I have decided to create the associated German relatives at FindaGrave......unfortunately mostly without tombstone, old tombstones are very rare in Germany.... I have visited cemeteries in my area and created some gravesites here....and I try to connect the german families with the emigrant-families...
Please note that the graves in Germany are not perpetual. Why it is like that?:
FAG contributor and researcher Derrick L. Jones (# 50873129) explains it very well, as a German, I couldn't explain it better :-)

I would also be happy to offer help in finding German ancestors or translations of old documents, inscriptions on gravestones, etc. ....feel free to ask...
