My maternal family lines include Thorsen, Anderson, McFee, Nilsdotter, Swenson (Svensson), Lund, Monson and Johansson.

My paternal family lines include Eaton, Dawson, O'Dea, Sprague, Baker, Harris, Finn and Chase.

I grew up in the small village of Avoca, NY (Steuben County). Upon graduating from high school in June of 1981, I enlisted in the USAF. I completed boot camp at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. After boot camp, I spent a year at Incirlik AB, Adana, Turkey and followed that up with my final duty station, Langley AFB, Hampton, VA. Upon separating from the Air Force in August of 1985, I was hired by the Virginia Beach Police Dept. After 29 years, I retired from the police department on June 1, 2015 and currently work as the safety manager for a small company in Suffolk, VA.

Over the past 30 years or so, with the help of a few cousins, I have collected information on most of my family lines. I have made every effort to make sure that the information posted is accurate. Thank you to those Contributors that have transferred memorials over to me.
