Bio

I am a history & genealogy hobbyist, searching my ancestors graves and others. I am one of the newest on Find A Grave so I hope site veterans will be patient with me. I know you have contributed so much volunteer work and time and I greatly appreciate it. I understand Find A Grave is about paying tribute first, genealogy second., but I have still learned a lot of my own history . . . Thanks to Veteran Contributors.

PLEASE DO NOT POST OBITUARIES or DATA THROUGH PHOTOS. Please use "Suggest Other Edits" section.

Sorry, All. I don't like using caps. Pretend they are ITALICS. This is a "problematic" topic -- makes it difficult, especially when a gravestone picture or portrait does not exist yet. I still have not figured out how or if I can prioritize submitted pics for the profile.

I am happy to help anyone however I can.

My Rules of Thumb:
1) I am happy to correct errors. I am pretty thorough but we are all human.
2) I am happy to transfer memorials to relatives and close friends.
3) I have wavered in the past but have decided to post full obituaries, citing them properly, WITHOUT NAMES OF SURVIVORS (caps = italics) unless requested by survivors.
4) I respond to messages and check my edits, so please feel free to contact me. I certainly desire to correct my mistakes.
5) I credit members for edits (unless they request anonymity; a reverse of Rule 1). (Shout out to Member Gary Monigold for doing the same for me!)
6) I kill with kindness. :)
7) I add rules when I think of them.

Blessings to all who contribute.
