I was born in Tulsa, OK and currently reside in Sand Springs, OK. I am the daughter of William Gray Elliott and Cecilia Josephine (Switlik) Elliott. My father was raised by his mother Dorothy Inez (Gray) Brehm and his step-father Norbert Brehm, both deceased. William's biological father (my paternal grandfather) was Wayne Clifford Elliott (1911-1976). Dorothy and Wayne met in Kansas; it is unclear if they were ever actually married. My father was born Sept. 20, 1932. Wayne later married Helen Quackenbush and moved to Washington. None of us ever knew him. Wayne's father was James Alonzo "Lon" Elliott (1879-1958). My niece has traced our Elliott lineage back to William Atkinson Elliott Sr who fought in the revolutionary war. Much is known about my paternal grandmother's and my maternal grandparent's families, tracing us back to Ireland and Poland, but the Elliott side was always a mystery until recently.
