I've recently started a family tree on Ancestry, as a way to 'set' down my family history on a more 'solid' level...I've been interested in genealogy, and history in general since I was a little girl. Through my father I have roots in Virginia and North Carolina, and through my mother I have roots in Massachusetts - so if there is such a thing as a 'Southern Yankee', I am one - and proud of both sides.
