I was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended school up untill the sixth grade and attended school in Cidra from seventh to eleventh grade. My dad said stay in school or join the military, so at seventeen I joined the Puerto Rico National Guard in 1978. I joined the Navy in 1985 and retired on 2005.
