Bio

I am a Trahan, geologist, and landman from South Louisiana, and I love my ancestors. My goal is to trace all of them back to their origin in France. According to http://www.hpeterjr.us, I am a direct descendant of Guilliaume Trahan, Sr., who sailed on the St. Jehan ship to Nova Scotia in 1636AD; however, my Trahan Family record on FindAGrave.com only goes back to my Great-Great Grandpa Gustave Trahan (b. 1854). I plan on fixing this! My goal is to draw up my family tree and stick it on my wall.

My maternal side is believed to be in the following order: Mouton; faulk; Meaux; Simon; Leger; Duhon; Hebert (Jean-Baptiste Hebert is as far as I can go on Find a grave).

My paternal grandmother's side is known to be in the following order: Landry; Broussard; Simon (eesh- same surname as the maternal side); Comeaux (Marcellite Comeaux is as far as i can go on Find a grave).
