I started researching my husband's family tree and my family tree in 1999. It was then that I started spending time roaming through cemeteries, looking for the graves of family members and cleaning their stones once I found them. I developed a deep appreciation for cemeteries, the peacefulness of them, and the memories they hold. I have long wanted to document as many graves as I can before they are lost to time forever and am finally getting a chance to work on that. I'm happy to take photos for others and to help fill in the blanks they may have in their family history. I also do what I can to help track down records and gather as much local information as I can find.

I also spend a lot of time cleaning headstones at the cemetery. My husband and I are currently working on a project cleaning all the stones in the three Veteran's sections of the local cemetery. So far we have completed two of them.
