If the memorial in question is a direct relative within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents) to you and the original submitter is not direct family, then they must transfer the memorial. I am always happy to transfer memorials to the family to which they belong. The Golden Rule trumps the guidelines.
