Just your average retired man, looking for something to do keep my mind and body active. At retirement I decided volunteer at an abandon Oakland Cemetery, located in Hampton Va. 23669 1109 E Pembroke Ave. I assist in general maintenance and upkeep. During this time, I located Find a Grave and signed up as contributor and volunteer to take photos. I live a few miles from several cemeteries and enjoy taking photo request. I'm a US Navy Civilian Retiree, and I found the simple life comes "naturally," the civilized life compels effort…..That is the never-ending challenge.
