I am a mother ,a Grandmother, a wife, an amateur historian, an animal and nature lover, a bookworm and I am hooked on genealogy. What started as a way to find my Dad, who I had not seen in 35 years turned into an addiction ...haha. I have now traced back both sides of my family including aunts, cousins etc to 400 AD and before. I love my 4 grandbabies with all I have and hope to pass on the love and knowledge of our family history to them. I feel a strong connection to the past and learning about my ancestors has made that connection even stronger. So many that I am proud of, cried for and been surprised by.
