I got intrested REALLY in geneology when I became a parent. My father passed away when I was 9yrs old & we never knew any family of his. So my brother & I went on a mission. He ordered 1 of those 'Family Crest' books off tv. It had all the people in the world with our surname. We lived in different states & since he was older, he started making calls. He found lots of family in Vermont. A few months after, he & I drove 19hrs to visit them & fill in the pieces.
That's our way...we want ALL the information & won't stop until we find it!
I started making a family tree on Ancestry for my kids. I did well until I did my mom's side. It seemed to stop after my maternal grandma's parents! I can't find ANY information & it is extremely frustrating!!!
I've been working on my family tree for the last 19yrs & still have so many blanks.

Some linked surnames in my family are....Mossey, James, Mueller, Sinclair, Frazier, Cox, Stapleton, Gerron, Hogg, Jackson.
*Specifically looking for James-Mueller-Sinclair families. Seems like a lot of them are from Kentucky.
