Even as a descendant of an adoptee, I wanted to know where we came from, who we were, so I set out to find who he was born as.
I was able to figure out -and prove via DNA- who he was born as.
We used Ancestry DNA, historical records and Ydna testing thru FamilyTreeDNA ( to get the ancestral surname.)
