I am a retired software developer. I spent over 50 years writing code starting when I was in college in 1964 working on my degree in mathematics. In college I learned to program in Fortran using an IBM 1620 computer while taking classes in numerical analysis. Got bit by the computer bug… so to speak. After a short time in the US Air Force, I made a career out of computer programming.
