I have been a history buff since 1952 when I was twelve years old. Everywhere I have lived, worked or traveled, I was always curious about the local history. I have studied the Civil War history in particular for over sixty years and have visited all the major battlefields and many of the sites of smaller, unmarked engagements.
I am presently in the throes of completing a book about the men from Monroe County, Ohio who served in the Ohio and West Virginia Regiments during the Civil War.
