Bio

Hi, I am Chris. I was born in the USA, migrated to Sydney Australia where I have been living nearly half my life. So photo volunteers, I really appreciated the time and leg work you do in helping me come closer to my ancestors.

I have been researching my family roots since 2017. Before then, much of the family discussion was pretty much rumour statements without any real proof. So I dug in deep and found many interesting family lines with very rich history with some very prominent ancestors.

Family names of interest is Myers, Christopher, Bensley (Bunzli), Whitehead, Shipley, Ream, Dewitt, Hartman, Clark, Feather, Stewart, Leibold, McNatt, Methany, to name a few. Feel free to contact me if you have questions about these lines or if you are descendant. I have some brickwalls to break especially Christopher, Hartman/Dewitt and Stewart

I am an active "correctness" nerd. I try to add or update memorials whenever I have the information. I know many people rely on this site as part of their ancestral pedigree and remembrance, so I do take great pains to make it easy to locate your family by linking memorials together and asking the wonderful volunteers that take time out of their day to take gravesite photos. Without you, there would be no Find A Grave.

One last note, any memorials, that I either create or suggest an edit, is because they are connected to my family tree in some way, direct or distant. I do not involve myself with whom I don't have a relationship. That said, if you see an edit or a memorial that I have created, please say Hello if you are connected to them too. I love to see how I am connected to living people that could be related as much as connecting with my descendents.
