Bio

Family research has been a lifelong project for me. As a child before on-line databases, my mother took me to cemeteries to find gravestones and make rubbings of the inscriptions (my children can say the same). I have spent most of my adult life in the western and central Pennsylvania area. With my children all growing up, I am turning a love of genealogy and research into a way to help others trace their ancestry. I have been trying to systematically walk a few local cemeteries then photograph and upload a picture for each marker. If there is no existing memorial, I create one. Because everyone has a story and is related to someone else, I try to spend a few minutes on each new memorial created, documenting their journey and linking them to their ancestors. Please suggest edits to correct my research. If you would like to manage the memorial yourself, I am happy to transfer it to you. Just go to "Suggest Edits" on the memorial that you are interested in, click on the "Other Edits" and request the transfer. Be sure to include your FindAGrave ID#.
