I have a love for picture taking and history. So Find a Grave is interesting to me. I live near a couple very old Cemeteries. Sadly I wish all the stones were engraved, but alot are just stones.
I read once that the "small dash between our birth and death is what really represents our lives, accomplishments, failures."
Make the best of the "THE DASH" because life is a short trip.

My family on my fathers side are Berrier & Leonard's. My great great great grandfather was Adam Jesse Berrier, from Lexington, NC. In the mid-1800's He rode a mule through the courthouse in Davidson County, NC. For doing that he was run out of the county for 30 days. He went up into Carroll County VA which is just across the NC state line. He met Sarah Abbagaile Leonard and married her and settled down at the base of the Blue Ridge Mtns. That is where my family grew up and still live to this day.

My mother's side of the family were Hall & Smith from Claudville, VA Her father rode the "Dinky Railroad" which used to run from Kibler Valley VA to Ararat VA area. There is a book written about the railroad, by Thomas Perry.
