Here I am bringing those who planted the seeds for my being into the present and imagining their many and varied lives with all the twists and turns and intersections that led to my birth. I feel like I carry their stories in my veins. One of the things that I have taken on as a way of honoring them is to make sure that they haven't accidentally floated into the wrong families.
