I have a listing of most of the soldiers who served from Wabasha county and am currently working on a project to identify those of Native or mixed Native and white ancestry who served in the Civil War from Minnesota. If you run across a vet with a name that sounds French let me know as a majority of the mixed folks were of French Canadian ancestry. Others are Campbell, Jones, Robinson, Cratte and Robinette that come to mind.
