I am currently researching my Dutch ancestors who emigrated from Zeeland, Holland in 1848 and settled in Town Eight or Fox Point, Wisconsin. Pieter Barthalomeus De Swarte and Suzanna Thomas De Swarte, with their many children and several grandchildren, were one of several families who settled in this small colony on the shore of Lake Michigan. Pieter and Suzanna were my great great great grandparents. They are most likely buried in the historic Bethlehem Cemetery near Doctor's Park in Fox Point, although only a few of the grave markers exist today. I recently visited this burial ground and photographed most of the remaining markers.
