Born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, I've been living in Winnipeg since the early 1980s. I am retired from the federal government after 40 years of service.

I've been documenting my family tree for many years and have successfully traced my lineage which has included ancestors who were United Empire Loyalists and fled to what was then Upper Canada from the Mohawk Valley area of New York State in the 1790s, and also ancestors who originally came to North America on the Mayflower and landed at Plymouth MA in 1620.

I am a past-president of the Manitoba Branch of the United Empire Loyalists Association of Canada. I am also a member of the Canadian Society of Mayflower Descendants.

I have been concentrating my efforts at documenting some of the cemeteries in the Rural Municipalities in Manitoba.

I will gladly transfer management of my memorials upon request.
