After locating my Great Great Grandparents in a local cemetery and seeing that their headstones/plots had not been maintained, almost to the point that I could barely read their names, so I cleaned them. After looking around I noticed that many names were unreadable. With that said, I am certain there is a need for our loved ones final resting place to be properly maintained. There are many reasons as to why they go uncleaned. Perhaps there are no local family members to to so or the family members are physically unable to perform the task.
