Hobbies are genealogy, reading, social media, road trips/exploring, and writing. I am a procrastinator and tend to have several irons in the fire at once. My bucket list includes rambling across England on the Cotswold trail, visiting every US National Park, and solving my last few genealogy brick walls. I recently bought a historical property and I look forward to maintaining and tending it for years to come. I have kept a diary for 37 years and hope to leave my children a legacy of a comprehensive family history and a heavily-edited collection of my thoughts for posterity. I love eating, laughing, pondering, chatting, front-porch sitting, and wild, loud thunderstorms. Some other things I like way too much are Shrek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Schitt's Creek, and Little Miss Sunshine. My most outstanding feature is my sense of humor, as I refuse to take almost anything very seriously and am wired to poke fun at life and all it's complexities. I very much look forward someday to joining the ancestors I have searched so diligently for in this lifetime, and I feel their presence with me every day of my life.
