I have always been fascinated by cemeteries, even as a small child. I have always found them peaceful.

I do what I do to help families connect with loved ones, and to pay it forward. I believe that it is our duty to keep these memorials available for future generations. Everyone deserves to be remembered. I heard someone say recently that people die twice. The first, when they succumb to death itself and the second, the last time someone mentions their name or remembers them. I thought this sentiment was quite profound.

If someone I am managing is related to you and you would like to take over, please tell me the connection and ask for a transfer. It is not about the numbers for me.

There are some great folks here, who use their own time to ensure that these memorials are as accurate as they can be, because they feel that it is important. Please be respectful of them.

And last, but not least, I ask that you please not claim my photos as your own. This is Find A Grave's policy: "Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere would be a violation of copyright. You must obtain permission from the member to use any photo for your own use. In general, if you did not take the photo yourself, you do not hold the copyright to it." In other words, just ask.
