I am a beginning researcher and I am part-Hawaiian. I became interested in genealogy research when I discovered my paternal grandfather's handwritten genealogy, written in his own handwriting.

I have benefited greatly from the Find A Grave community. Through it, and other resources, I have been able to trace my heritage back to John Howland and Stephen Hopkins - which I am direct descendants of. Both Howland and Hopkins were Mayflower passengers.

I am also of Hawaiian ancestry. Find A Grave has helped me to find many of my relatives, scattered throughout the Hawaiian Islands, including Kalaupapa.

Everyone has a story and everyone has parents. I volunteer in order to give back to a community which has greatly blessed me and my family.

Please do not leave requests on my contributor page for Additions, Edits, Transfers, etc. Please follow FIND A GRAVE procedure and go to the MEMORIAL of the person you want changes to and click on: EDIT, then click on SUGGEST A CORRECTION and make your changes/requests that way.

This provides me with a link to the memorial, a link to the person making the requests, all the things needed to make the changes quickly & easily.
