I was born in San Antonio, TX and lived there until I was 12 at which time I lived in East Texas. My parents had joint custody so I was stay with my mother at times and with my father at others. My father grew up in Rockport, TX and so my siblings and I would get to go to Rockport quite often. My father was told his grandfather was from Greece so when he was grown he made it his life long mission to find out what part of Greece his grandfather came from so he began to scour court houses and libraries to find documents that would list the Greek village. In 2012 my father lost his eyesight and is now legally blind so I have picked up the torch and have been doing Genealogy for him. I have found some very interesting things along the way including finding out about the paternal branch I never knew about just recently in 2019. I am an inspector in petrochemical facilities so documentation and record searching are part of my job which gives me an advantage with Genealogy.
