I am thankful to family on both my mom and dad's side who kept up with family tree information so that I was able to trace both sides in America from the early 1700s. I'm also thankful for the info I found on this site that enabled me to add in pieces. I am very grateful to those who have put in the hard work to honor those, like my dad, who were casualties of the Vietnam War. I visited Tickanetley Cemetery for the first time (as an adult) in 1999; many of my father's ancestors are buried there along with my dad. It was quite an experience. I'm looking forward to contributing and helping make connections.
