I'm from Geneseo IL as is my father's family but my mother's family is from Kansas and my husband's family is spread out all around Illinois and Iowa for the most part. I am doing some basic genealogy, plus as a trained historian I just enjoy learning about people in the past even if only through their graves. I maintain memorials connected to me, and add and will add further graves of close family members. At this time I have no plans to create or maintain memorials unconnected to myself but am happy to transcribe photos in my free time and do some research and make corrections as I come across them. Any memorials I may end up creating with no close ties to myself or my husband I would be more than happy to transfer to the proper person.
