Bio

I am not the Genealogist in my family. My mother is truly passionate about our family's history. We started doing annual Mother/Daughter Genealogy trips as a way to spend time together and I guess I caught the "bug". I am not a huge fan of the courthouse and library research, but found myself truly enjoying the cemetery research. There is something exhilarating and challenging about finding the final resting place of a long lost ancestor in a mass of surrounding tombstones. I call it a gem!
I am researching mainly my husband's line. Surnames include: Dewey, Kurelic, King, Powell, Moore, Hoover, Cloud, Dickey, Burley, Snyder, Deweese, Moody, Murphy, Lawrence, Ellenberger, Clemmer, Partlow, Peyatt, Rush, Wemmer, Vess & Linscott.
